La Cour Carp Fishing

Located in the heart of the Centre Val de Loire, in the department of the Cher, Alan welcomes you to La Cour Carp Fishing – 15 acres of fresh water carp fishing surrounded by 22 acres of private rolling countryside in the geographic centre of France.

The fresh water lake has been stocked with over 300 carp in addition to an unknown quantity of of original stock with average catch now over 45lbs.

Lake records were broken last season 23/24 with Common at 53.5lb and Mirror at 61lb.

A further head of 31 carp added December 24 to almost 1 tonne; 14 Common and 17 Mirror carp ranging 27-43lb to supplement the existing stock which continue to be fed on a high protein diet.

Lake depth varies from 1-4 metres with a mix of silt and hard base. Access available for vehicles around 3 sides to 11 purpose built swims.

Fishing Holidays

Fully refurbished in 2023, the onsite facilities include 2 separate shower rooms, a fishing kitchen complete with multiple fridge and freezer storage for you and your bait storage needs.

New for 2025 is a covered outside kitchen to enjoy BBQ facilities and a separate 1 bedroom Gite for those anglers or with non fishing guests that would prefer some home comforts.

Pricing for 2025/26 is 420 Euros per person per week (£350pppw) and fully exclusive from 1900 Euros per week (£1600pw) across 11 swims.
